Founder & CEO

Enterprise experience. Commercial perspective. A founder's commitment.

Derrick's career spans global cybersecurity, enterprise technology operations, consulting, and business development. His experience includes global cyber-defense and investigation leadership at EY and IT service-delivery leadership at Artivion.

He has also led security program delivery supporting the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Library of Congress, alongside earlier sales and strategic-account leadership at Red Hat. That combination informs how AppleSeedIQ evaluates customer needs, manages risk, and builds commercially focused software.

As founder of AppleSeedIQ and Vigil GRC, Derrick guides product direction and portfolio strategy: developing promising ideas, retaining selected businesses for recurring value, and pursuing strategic sales when they are the right path.
